The Sheer Ladderless company was established in 2008 and we are the only pantyhose supplier to have developed a non-run pantyhose product which has now been well established in the South African market. There is no other product to compare as it is guaranteed not to ladder. After extensive research and development in the early days we produced a stocking that not only does not ladder but reduces the expense and time of buying many of the normal pantyhose that ladder within days of purchase.

Decitex is the term that describes the sheerness of hosiery. The lower the Decitex number, the more delicate and sheer the pantyhose. (E.g., 17 Decitex) means less threads per square centimetre, but nevertheless, still ladderless. The higher the Decitex number, the thicker the product, as with our Sheer Velvet Opaques that have a Decitex count of 44.
44 Decitex with Elastane. Our product has been developed specifically for the school market and is perfect for the fashion market as well. The School Opaques with our unique stitch are thicker and warmer than normal opaque as they are made from a special yarn made in Switzerland. They are the most comfortable to wear and will cut the cost of keeping a schoolgirl in pantyhose dramatically because they will not ladder.
Our Opaques can be ordered in 11 colours and children’s sizes: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large & Super Large in adult sizes.

Our adult opaques can also be ordered in “Hipster” style. These are an innovative “FIRST” on the South African market from Sheer Ladderless. Not only do they have all the qualities of our Regular Waist Opaques, but they have a specially contoured panty ensuring a perfect fit with an extra wide Hip Band made specifically to sit comfortably on the hips. They will not cut into, ride down or curl over. These can be ordered in all adult sizes and the 11 colours above.
